Defense and line play. I would think Michigan should be able to control both lines and wear down Washington's defense to pull away in the 4th.

Seems they had a good game plan for Ala QB for a good bit of the game. Swarmed him a lot.

It used to be that way, but not in today's game. Offense wins championships in today's game.

Defense doesn't win championships.....Elite defenses win championships.
I don't think I would put Michigan in that Georgia defensive or SEC dominant category. JMO

This was the worst Bama team as far as line play and possessing elite weapons on offense in 2 decades, their OL was ranked in the 100s for pressure rate given up. Not taking away from Michigan though, they showed up and handled them (should've been easily if it weren't for their abysmal special teams).

I still haven't settled on a side which means I prob shouldn't bet but what fun is that?

Bama center shut down their offense. And they still had 172 rushing
Washington will not have that problem on O line
Seth McLaughlin Bama’s center is one of the reason’s why they lost to Texas..bad snaps…it was a issue then he started doing better…but his yips came back during Michigan game!!.He transferred to Ohio State the next day…lol

Harbaughs' bonehead decision to go on 4th down, up 17-3, and less than 3 minutes to play in the half, may come back and haunt him

No. They were first quarter.Washington adjusted against the run which was the issue. But, yes, they are outplaying Washington.Washington is use to these kinds of games. If they play decent vs the run I think they might pull it off.
